Alright, well I apologize for being away so long. I HAVE been working out...just not very much. And My biggest excuse, even though it's a lame one(aren't they all?), is that I have had the chicken pox. So I've been trying to recover from that.
I'm also doing a challenge with some friends to do 5000 crunches during the month of February. Because of the chicken pox i didn't start on that on the first of the month, so I have been trying to catch up. Right now I am at 700 and my abs are REALLY sore!
I'm also working my shoulders. Trying to get my joints as strong as possible so that I can start placing more pressure on them in my workouts.

Excuses
Alright. I went on a trip for five days, and got sick while I was there. Now I'm recovering.
That's why I haven't worked out or posted since the 7th.
Okay okay, I know...all those a ridiculously lame excuses. I couldn't agree more. But that is what happened.
My workout from the 7th til today has only consisted of one core work out. :/
After a lot of determination that ended today.
I did a fairly intense lower body work out this evening which consisted of 3 sets of suicide sprints. (2 reps) Two sets of jump squats (10 reps) 3 sets of ankle hops (20-30 reps) and 2 sets of blocking suicide things.
It felt good. I also through a little core in there. Did a full body plank and a suicide plank.
Upper body and core tomorrow! :)

1/4/11-1/7/11
Alright...I'm getting behind here with my actual blogging....lessee...what have I been doing....
My last post was...Tuesday.
On Wednesday I did a pretty great lower body workout consisting of suicides, jump squats, and suicide blocks.
Thursday I did a great core and upper body workout....
-Full body planks
-side planks
-superman
-leg extensions
Then a specific hitting workout.
I ended up doing a total of about 10 min of planks.
No, I didn't work out today...I haven't slept much in the last two days so I'm gonna try and catch up on that.

Yesterday 1/3/11
Well I didn't get around to posting yesterday but basically I did a short core work out. (about 100 crunches total) And a good upper body hitting work out. :) It was perfect. I also played vball for about 2 hours last night.
Still gotta work out today though. My plan is to work lower body and core.
I'll probably do some suicides, blocking suicides, and some jump squats for lower body, and then a core work out consisting of planks.

Today I had a great work out!
Suicides, jump squats, and blocking suicides. :)
Then I did a core work out of planks.
I also measured my vertical, and agility time. This will be my first progress mark. (Or rather show how completely out of shape I am.) haha
Reach is 8'3"
Vertical is 24.5"
Standing (without and approach) vertical is 18.5"
Agility time is 12.2 seconds.

Confession! Didn't work out today...haha oh well...tomorrow's supposedly a new year right?
I did have a good work out last night though!
I did I total of about 130 crunches (3 different variations)
And an upper body workout specifically designed for hitting...then after that I played vball for about 3 hours.
I found out that I am way more out of shape then I thought I was in those 3 hours! haha
Well, tomorrow is my day off...see you guys Sunday. :)

Well my knee feels a ton better today! Praise the Lord! I really don't know what happened...but it feels strong again. :) I'm still going to give it a little longer though to heal completely.
Tonight I decided to do some core. Also got a little but of shoulder strengthening in.
I did 3 sets of the following
1:00 plank
:45 Side plank
:45 side plank
12 scissor kicks
Then:
1:00 superman
12 reverse crunches
1:00 superman
I feel it was pretty balanced. I guess we'll see how sore I am in about 24 hours. :P
